Burns started her TV career in 1995, playing the lead role of Peg in the Spanish-American teen show Out of the Blue (1995-1996). Burns began her television career in 1995 when she was a part of in the cast of the Spanish-American teenager sitcom Out Of the Blue (1995-1996). She later starred in Baywatch: Hawaii which was the follow-up to the Baywatch action-packed series. Burns left Baywatch due to her pregnancies.
